The 52 cc (2.3 kW) petrol engine features a robust magnesium engine cover which ensures quick cooling. This 52 cc spark ignition motor with a net power output of 2.3 kW offers you plenty of power and the manual and inertia chain brake allows you to stop the chain in 0.089 seconds with just one hand, offering maximum safety in the event of kickback. You’ll soon notice that this chainsaw from Stiga is lower on vibrations than you might be used to - this is thanks in no small part to the ergonomic soft-touch handle and spring system which ensures reduced vibrations and greater comfort to the user. You won’t need tools when you need to open the air filter cover and the oil pump is automatic and adjustable.

The net weight is 5.3kg (without bar and chain) and this makes it easy to handle and allows you to make good progress without straining yourself. For your convenience the Stiga SP 526 petrol chainsaw has an oil tank cap in a convenient position and fuel level can be checked using the practical level monitoring window. It's also easy to access the air filter and spark plug for maintenance.

All our STIGA machines are run, checked and tuned and given full PDI (Pre-delivery Inspection) before leaving our premises. This means we will unpack your Stiga, start it, test it and individually tune it for maximum power and efficiency. We ensure that your machine is set up and ready to run when it is handed over to you.
