Fitted with a manual pump fuel (Primer bulb), the small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the simple touch of a button. This results in reduced starting strokes required following extended breaks in operations. So if you leave your machine for any period of time you can simply re-start at the touch of a button without having to go through all the steps again. Great for busy gardeners.

The Stihl 2-stroke engine features stratified charge that gives you faster acceleration, low emissions, and reduced fuel consumption. This works by allowing a fuel-free layer of air being created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, thus lessening the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption in fact than a traditional 2-stroke engine. Exhaust emissions are therefore reduced.
