Thanks to STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning, you can tension your saw chain quickly and without tools, thanks to the adjusting wheel. Turning the adjusting wheel to the left releases tension on the saw chain, and turning the adjustment wheel to the right tensions the saw chain. The guide bar will be automatically secured when you tighten the sprocket cover.

Thanks to the soft grip on the control handle, the chainsaw sits comfortably in the hand and can be operated safely. In addition, the users grip is improved by the soft material, which helps when using the chainsaw in wet conditions.

The sturdy metal bumper spikes provide chainsaws with a hold on wood, so that you can guide your cuts safely and precisely.

Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC motor enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.

When using other brands of battery tools, the performance can sometimes decrease during work as the battery discharges. This isn't the case with STIHL battery-powered tools. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.

The MSA 220 CB is IPX4 certified thanks to the encapsulated electronics and sealing of each individual cell. It means that the battery is protected against splash water from all sides and can be used in rainy conditions.

The recommended kit includes the AP 300 S Battery, which provides up to 37 minutes of run time, along with the AL301 Charger. As part of the Stihl AP System, the MSA 200 C-B is compatible with the full range of AP batteries. Maximum working times are:

AP 300S - 37 minutes

AP 500S - 44 minutes
